In inima
tarii, coborand spre Tagus, se intinde o frumoasa regiune
muntoasa, unde lumea mai are inca timp pentru a savura
viata.
 In
extrema nord-estica a tarii, piatra e sufletul acestei
regiuni: granitul templelor si caselor, versantii stancosi
si stabilitatea unui popor care si-a pastrat dansurile
si cantecele (cu o puternica influenta celtica), festivitatile
si procesiunile care combina o mostenire pagana cu ritualuri
crestine de secole.

Intrucat regiunea este
preponderent africola, turistul se poate delecta
aici intr-o mare varietate de delicatese (fripturi,
mezeluri, branzeturi si vinuri alese) si se poate
bucura de linistea unui popor care traieste in continuare
in comunitate si pentru care ospitalitatea a fost
dintotdeauna primul instinct. |
