The Embassy of Portugal in Bucharest is organizing a literary contest in order to celebrate 130 years of diplomatic relations between Portugal and Romania.

The aim of this contest is to elaborate an essay based on thorough investigation which will afterwards be rewarded by this Embassy with 700.00 Euro.

If you are a student, or a former student of one of our Portuguese Language Centers, if you're studying at the Faculty of International Relations, or if you are just interested in the two cultures please register for the contest at the fallowing e-mail addresses:

Days of the Portuguese Cinema

On the 3rd and 4th of June, the Romanian Cultural Institute was host for the third edition of the Days of the Portuguese Cinema, organized by the Embassy of Portugal with the support of Camões Institute.

Programming of the event:

Portuguese Language Course - Intermediate Level/Bucharest

A new session of the Portuguese Language Course for Intermediate Level will be organized between the 15th of March and the 13th of May, Mondays and Thursdays, starting at 18.00 at the Portuguese Cultural Center/IC, Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Bucharest, Edgar Quinet street, 5-7, 3rd floor.

Those who wish to subscribe have to download the test here, do the test at home and then send it to the following e-mail address:

cultural@embportugal.ro until the 8th of March, at 17.00

After taking the final test at the end of the Language Course participants will receive a diploma of participation.

The Language Course is free of charge.
